Originally from Denver, Fire Truck Crepes began answering the call in 2014. Staffed with a few “old” firefighters and paramedics, and paired with a classically trained chef, we converted a 1989 Darley Spartan Fire Engine into a state-of-the-art crepe serving machine. On a rainy and snowy May evening, Fire Truck Crepes made their public debut.
Sparty enjoyed the public events first. Civic Center Eats, the 5 Points Jazz Festival, local farmer’s markets, and other venues allowed us to showcase our passion. Not long after we appeared in the public eye, we began getting calls for private events….and the rest is history. Sparty and “the crew” began celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and any reason to party all over the booming front range of Colorado. We were also honored to be named one of the “top food trucks in Denver” by several publications, and we were featured in several local and national news stories.
Life was great in the Mile High City, and we enjoyed several seasons of great friends, awesome food, and outrageous success. But, like many before us, we felt an “itch” to grow and share our passion with more people.
So we planned and researched.
Then we did it. Late in 2016, we made the jump.
It was a long hop…about 1,000 miles to the south.
